Electrical Service
Troubleshooting, repairs, lighting, devices and practical solutions for the electrical work that keeps life moving.
Request serviceHome electrical safety check
Know what deserves attention before it becomes an emergency.
A practical, master-electrician review of accessible electrical equipment and common warning signs—followed by clear priorities, not unnecessary repairs.
What we can review
- Service equipment and panel condition
- Visible grounding and bonding concerns
- GFCI and AFCI protection in applicable areas
- Receptacles, switches and signs of overheating
- Surge protection and available electrical capacity
- EV charging and future-load readiness
Reviews are limited to accessible conditions and are not a substitute for a destructive or real-estate inspection.
EV charging expertise
Charging that fits the building—and the future.
The charger is only one part of a dependable installation. We look at the service, panel capacity, load management, conductor routing and how the system will be used before recommending a solution.
- Residential Tesla Wall Connector installations
- Commercial Wall Connector planning and installation
- Load calculations and service-capacity evaluations
- Permit-ready scope and code-compliant workmanship

Questions before you call
Clear answers make better electrical decisions.
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not always. We review the existing service, perform the applicable load calculation and consider load management before recommending an upgrade.
Do you handle permits?
When the project requires a permit, we help define a permit-ready scope and coordinate the electrical work with the local authority.
What should I send with a quote request?
Include the project address, a short description, photos of the electrical panel and equipment, and your preferred timeframe.
Do you work with both homes and businesses?
Yes. Wyerd Electric serves residential, commercial and light industrial projects throughout our North Texas service area.
What can infrared electrical screening identify?
Thermal patterns can reveal abnormal heating that deserves closer investigation. Findings are evaluated in context and do not replace electrical testing or a full diagnostic assessment.
